Below is the lighting and fireplace control panel - complete. Not sure if I like the screwless wall plates or not - they are kinda bulky - will give it time....

A dedicated 240V/20A circuit was installed to power the Transfer Switch - its back up and running after learning this thing the hard way....

Bar cabinet and under-cabinet lighting installed. I will replace the wood shelf in the cabinet with a glass one so that all of the interior of the cabinet is illuminated, not just the top shelf

Here is one of four of the new Elco shallow low-voltage housings, with magnetic transformer and bulbs. These are quite bright - the cans will be installed after the ceiling is installed, which will be after....

...after the PVC drop-ceiling grid is installed.

Here is another shot of the corners, installed. It's somewhat diffcult to get this right. In a normal installation, where these are placed in the upper corners, any variation is tough to see. But in my case, even 1/32" of variance and these corner grids will show. I'm not going to get too picky about this as long as it generally fits.

We have been informed that the sink, and thus the counter-tops, will be arriving at least a week earlier than thought. I will likely hold off on installing the ceiling until AFTER the bar counters are installed, so that I can ensure proper placement of the bar can lights that they light up the bar area. I might even wait until after the carpet is installed to finish this, as I have read that carpet padding makes excellent pipe-wrap for reducing noise, and there is a noisy drain pipe in here.....
