Back in business

After a very lengthy delay, the sink that we ordered in November finally arrived, which meant that the countertops could be installed. While we have lots of work to do, this critical-path task is now done and I can get back to working on the Ground Floor Project.

And the sink that held everything up. Part of this is my fault - I could have purchased a standard bar sink, but I wanted to add some modern stuff with our classic Arts & Crafts design, plus I wanted a deep real BAR sink, not a kitchen sink. And the non-standard 18" deep cabinet did not help matters.

We're slacking on ordering the bath vanity light, but here is the vanity top

Next up: I am going to button up the ceiling in the soffit with the drop ceiling.

We have most of the sink fixtures. Going to order the toilet and bath vanity, and get that all plumbed up and working.

Probably will not plumb up the sink until I complete the back splash tile work, and the difficult part of that is actually selecting tile that we like.
