Soffit Update

Tonight I got into my usual routine of going to the basement, turning on the local AM talk radio, and working away. So far I've installed seven cross members for the soffit. The rest are on hold whilst I figure out the design for the fireplace and the bar. I have a general idea on what to do for the fireplace, but we need to pick one out so that I know the final dimensions to build to.

As for the bar, in this case I have some rough ideas, and need to draw up some sketches and then figure out the dimensions, and then finally the plan. I also need to figure out what to do with the lolly pole - not sure how to handle that.

I knocked out the exterior 2x6 where the fireplace exhaust needs to go.



The bar will be cool but I need to design it...
