Pink Walls

First, I added the Foamular 150 Extruded Polyethelyene foam insulation (see previous blog entry for why I am doing this) and glued it to the wall. Just enough to hold it upright until I get the walls framed.

A few 2x4s and some cases of beer helped....(click to enlarge)

Then frame out the wall....(This is just the first wall. I've a long ways to go)

The wall separating the playroom from the rest of the office requires a header plate be installed in a location where the builder did some strange things. As you can see below, a sheet of OSB between two joists sticks out about 1/4" too far - so in order to install the top plate, I am putting 1x2s on each side....to which Iwill then attach the top plate of the wall.
