Mostly done with construction

Wrapped up work on the bar. The tile work, grout, and plumbing is complete. I do have a few small odds and ends. We need to select and buy a stairway light (no easy task) and a few switchplates, but basically, I am putting tools away and cleaning up in order for the flooring to be installed.

Not sure when the flooring will be installed, however, as there are just too many choices on the market these days. No idea what kind and color of carpet and floor we want. So that might take a while.

The bar is done - just needs flooring and to move in the beverage fridge, decorations, glassware and beverages.



The faucet is nice. In fact, this is all much nicer than what we have in our kitchen, albeit much smaller. On the drain plumbing, I installed a vertical run under the counter for a studor vent, just in case. At the moment, I do not have the vent installed and the sink drains just fine, but at least I have the option if needed.

Next up - flooring- the selection process is going to suck.....
