Staining

For the past two months, we've been staining all of the doors, window jambs, and door and window casing, as well as the half wall. It's tedious work and one that I do not enjoy, although I do enjoy the results. I much prefer painting.

Below are some photos of all of the work. But the staining work is not done, as I estimate there is about 140 feet of baseboard that needs to be stained, finished and installed, and will likely be the very last work on the basement project. I'd rather not be in the cold garage this winter trying to stain the baseboard, so hence why we are in such a rush to get this basement done in the next three months.

The next immediate step is to pick out the wall colors and then paint. We have the play room paint colors picked out and will likely start there first.
